Description

On the last Friday of September, manufacturers across northern Michigan gather to support the Engineering Academy (formerly Manufacturing Technology Academy (MTA)) of Traverse City in the annual Manufacturers Charity Golf Outing. Get your foursome ready and register today!

A portion of the proceeds are donated back to the Engineering Academy program allowing the students to compete in robotic competitions on a national stage. This is a great event helping our region's next generation of innovators and leaders.

Auction Prize Raffle

Traverse Connect in partnership with the Grand Traverse Area Manufacturing Council will feature Auction Prizes that will be raffled off at the conclusion of the Outing at the Networking & Awards Ceremony, beginning at 4:00 PM. These auction item contains a variety of local goods, experiences, and vouchers. To enter to win, participants may purchase five ticket for $10, 15 tickets for $20 or 50 tickets for $50.

A-GA-MING

We are frequently asked, "What is A-Ga-Ming?". A-Ga-Ming represents many things. To the Native Americans, it is a word meaning "on the shore." For families across the Midwest and the nation, it is a beautiful vacation destination, complete with lodging, dining, and relaxation. To the golf community, it is a 72-hole golf resort nestled on the shores of Torch Lake and Lake Michigan, in three beautiful Northern Michigan locations.

Schedule
7:30 AM: Registration Begins
9:00 AM: Shot Gun Start
3:00 PM: Player scorecards must be turned in to be included in drawings and prizes
3:00 PM: Cocktail Hour with dinner and a cash bar
4:00 PM: Winners Announced: Course Winners, 50/50 Winners, and Auction Item Winners
5:00 PM: Conclusion of Event

Please Note:

You must be present to win the 50/50 drawing OR the auction items
50/50 Winning ticket will be posted when players' cards are turned in at the end to be claimed.
Prizes not collected at the event must be picked up at the Traverse Connect building [202 E. Grandview Parkway, TC 49684] with proof of winning ticket stub.
