Audit Manager (Remote)

Join Dennis, Gartland & Niergarth in a flexible, fully remote role. We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead assurance engagements, guide team members, and build trusted client relationships while delivering high-quality work.

We welcome candidates interested in either an employment opportunity or an independent contractor arrangement. Engagement terms will be based on business needs, qualifications, and the nature of the working relationship.

Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in accounting or closely corresponding field
• Typically 6–8 years of assurance/audit experience in public accounting or equivalent experience.
• Active CPA license
• Demonstrated experience managing assurance engagements and supervising multiple team members.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and applicable industry guidance.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and engagement profitability.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits (EBP, government, non-profit, etc.) preferred
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment
