About the Role:

We are seeking a Part-time Art Assistant who is ready to contribute to various aspects of our store. This versatile role involves assisting with customer service, merchandising, art workshops, and creative direction. Responsibilities include:

• Setting up, hosting, and cleaning up events and workshops
• Operating the register system and assisting with sales
• Restocking inventory and maintaining store organization
• Helping develop and support innovative art projects and workshops
• Opening and closing the store as needed
• Maintain website and social media
• Coming up with creative ideas for classes and workshops
• Being crafty and help creating window displays
• MUST be available to work nights and weekends
• Standing for long period of times
• No cell phones
• Not a seasonal job

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in art-related tasks and creative direction
• Attention to detail and a passion for artistic vision
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Familiarity with art materials and techniques
• Flexibility with scheduling based on business needs
• Must be 18+
• At least 1 year of retail experience
