Creative Media Specialist

Eelo, an independent sustainable textile company is seeking a Creative Media Specialist, to play a key role in executing the brand’s marketing and design strategies across multiple platforms. You’ll craft visually compelling content, as well as some written copy, for social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns. Additionally, you'll manage website updates and optimize the digital experience. This position is ideal for a versatile marketer with a strong design sense, a deep understanding of our customer experience, and a focus on performance-driven results.

This is a full-time, salaried, in-house position with a customer service component in the retail shop. Remote work is not offered. Salary including benefits package is based on experience and expertise in digital design relevant to our independent company. The role offers significant growth potential in various directions, shaped by both personal ambitions and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Campaigns & Visual Content
Campaign execution: Design and execute marketing campaigns, including visual content creation, layout, and           organization.
Promotions & Events: Develop visual assets and written content for promotions, seasonal sales, and events.
Newsletters: Design and manage regular email marketing campaigns.
B2B & Trade Materials: Design and manage B2B outreach materials, including catalogs, letters, and line sheets for our partners.

2. Social Media & Brand Voice Management
Maintain brand voice: Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s brand identity and voice.
Strategize content calendar: Plan and organize a long-term content calendar to support campaigns and brand strategies.
Design & optimize content: Create visual content, video and write engaging copy, incorporating effective keywords, hashtags, and calls-to-action.
Engagement & growth: Monitor and analyze social media performance to improve engagement and drive growth across platforms.

3. Website Management & Optimization
Website updates & simplification: Regularly update the website, ensuring the content is fresh, easy to navigate, and aligned with the brand.
Asset management: Manage and update all collateral designs as needed.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Design tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Flodesk, Canva and InDesign. Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms. Proficiency in Shopify theme customization.
Content Skills: Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Bonus skill setWebsite coding: Manage and implement minor coding updates on the Shopify platform. Create and manage paid ad campaigns with a solid knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization strategies.
