We are two blocks south of Main street in Frankfort, at the end of Second Street, across from the active Coast Guard Station.
The purpose of the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts is to maintain an educational program and facility for the advancement of the arts. The Art Center also works to promote and develop the visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts in northwest Michigan.

Education
High quality classes and workshops for adults, youth, and families are offered year-round in a variety of media, including clay and ceramics, painting, collage, drawing, pastel, textile arts, culinary arts, fiber arts, writing fiction and poetry, editing, and wellness arts. We offer art experiences for both young and old alike with our free Kids' Drop In Days and Creative Space and our Silver Art Experience program for seniors in assisted living facilities.
Exhibitions
Oliver Art Center hosts approximately 16 exhibitions annually, featuring the work of artists from across Michigan and beyond in our unique gallery spaces.
Events
A wide variety of events are held year-round. These include exhibition opening receptions, artist talks, concerts, and outdoor events like our annual Coastal Caravan Art Fair.
