Jenny first knew people were her passion when she volunteered at an adaptive rugby tournament while pursuing her B.A.A. in Recreation Parks & Leisure Services Administration at Central Michigan University. She was inspired not only by the energy and excitement of the league, but also the opportunity created for all to be able to recreate. After relocating to Traverse City and securing a role at the Y’s Membership Desk, she quickly came to love the smiles she was able to put on people’s faces. This love has only grown over the last ten years of her career with the Y. Jenny strives to serve our community by championing the Y’s philosophy of For All, making the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA a place of inclusion where all feel welcome and enabled to thrive. In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with family, camping in Northern Michigan, reading, and exploring her creativity.
