Habitat for Humanity, GTR is a Christian organization that partners with the community to serve families in need with generosity, humility, and love. Many resources are needed to create and preserve affordable housing including partner families, land, materials, financial donations and volunteers.
Shelter from wind, rain and cold is a basic human need. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness within Grand Traverse Region, and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety.
